Celluloid Best Malayalam film, Prithviraj actor Rima Kallinkal actress

Kerala state film Award announced today. The movie celluloid bagged total seven awards directed by kamal. The movie celluloid is portraits the life story of JC Daniel who is the founder of Malayalam cinema. JC Daniel made the first Malayalam cinema in 1928 after selling his property. JC Daniel started his studio in Trivandrum and acted in the movie as well. The first actress in Malayalam cinema was rosy from Trivandrum.

Malayalam actor Prithviraj received the best actor award for his performance in the movies Celluloid and Ayalum Njanum Tammil. Prithviraj earlier received his Kerala state award fro the film Vastavam. Prithvira appeared in Celluloid as JC Daniel in different get up.

Malayalam actress Rimakallinkal is the best actress for her performance in 22 female Kottayam. The movie was telling the story of a bold woman from kottayam who take revenge without any fear. Delrector Lal Jose selected as the best director for his movie Ayalum Njanum Tammil.
